Bridges Medical Day Care provides a set of supportive services where individuals with very complex needs can obtain medical/therapeutic supports while at the same time enjoying leisure experiences and community outings. Seniors are welcome. The Bridges program offers a stimulating array of activities, outings into the community, performances and nursing support designed to encourage independence, optimize health and promote socialization. For those who master household skills and can safely live alone, Chesapeake Center offers drop-in Support Services by trained staff. As a not for profit agency, Chesapeake Center is reimbursed for many of its community-based services by the Maryland Department of Health and Hygieneâ€™s Developmental Disabilities Administration.
